How To Easily Make A Bubble Quilt
Follow along with Jen to learn how to make this classic Bubble Quilt (aka: puff quilt or biscuit quilt) with a cute ruffled edge!
How to add backing: The backing is sewn to the quilt when the ruffles are added (see free download for ruffle instructions and how to add backing). The dimensions of the backing will depend on the number of blocks you choose to include in your project. Measure the height and width of the quilt after all blocks have been sewn together to find the dimensions of the backing!

We made a quilt like this years ago using stockings and pantyhose for the stuffing. Nice warm quilts.
Audra, I can’t see where to click to follow you. but, I will remember how to make the quilt. I just love it & it doesn’t seem impossible. This sure makes the fiber fill stay in place. Thanks so mcu for the post!
There’s no backing fabric? The raw edges show on the back?
I made one of red, white, and blue flannel as a lap robe for my dad about 27 years ago. He loved it. I think I still have it. It was so easy to make. Thanks for the refresher. Glad to see them back.
