After a hot summer and bug filled fall, your windshield is probably covered in caked on bug guts that even the toughest of car washes cant remove. I know mine is. Well, what if I told you there was a trick of the trade that all of the second hand car lots us to get the windshield back to looking like it was just put in the vehicle?
Before I share this trade secret I just want to state I did try this and it worked. My windscreen was so dirty even after a tens of car washes that I had no other chocie but to scour the internet for a life hack. Normally I steer clear of them but this time I am happy with the results and I think you will be too.
Even the countless gas station window cleans didn’t help…
Hey, so maybe I misunderstood. I gave this a try hoping to clear off the years of wear on the windshield, and especially get rid of the fine coating of “specks”.
My windshield is certainly much cleaner, but I made no progress on this stuff.
Was I expecting too much?
