How To Recaulk A Bathtub Or Shower
Sooner or later, mold always shows up in bathroom caulking. This article explains how to clean the old caulk out and then recaulk around a shower or tub. A lot of people struggle with caulking but honestly it is so simple to do. I promise once you see the tutorial I am sharing with you all today you will feel confident enough to do this today! (if you have time)
All you need to recaulk your bathtub or shower, or even your sink is a tube of caulk and a caulking gun. Remember if you don’t prep the surfaces properly, the caulk won’t last long. And if you’re sloppy, the messy caulk job will ruin the look of even the most beautiful tile job.
Don’t be embarrassed of your bathroom any longer.
Instead of using my finger, I use a wooden ice cream pop stick dipped in warm water and run over the bead at about 45 degree angle. It hold the moisture better, is less messy and gives a smooth finish.
dont forget to fill the tub with water first so it doesnt stretch later on and crack
