Make Your Home More Secure With A ”Fork Lock”
Phil Crockett recently came up with a way to lock a door by modifying a dinner fork. Some folks may have seen his earlier video called “portable door lock”, which he made from flat 1/8″ steel, but if you are a “regular” person you are not going to have some steel jut laying around.
The Fork Lock, however, is way easier to make. This lock is very useful when wanting to add a little extra security to a motel room, public restrooms (which often have broken locks), or on any interior, or exterior door.
You want your door as secure as can be in this day and age. You want your door as strong as the one below to stop thugs and wannabe burglars out. In all seriousness though, home security should be top of your “to-do”list. This fork lock is quite possibly the cheapest DIY home security you can do right now. Best of all, this works well.
